Mute Swan

Mute Swan
Short Stories

Since antiquity it seems, swans have been prominent in our myths and tales. Consistently, swans have been associated with shape-shifting, fertility, grace and beauty. Even the Ugly Duckling, transforms into a majestic beast. Helen of Troy, the most beautiful woman in Greece was said to have been born from an egg, the result of Leda's seduction by Zeus, who appeared to her in the form of a swan.
