Norman Rockwell (1894-1978)

Rockwell was born (1894) and studied in New York. He attended the National Academy of Design and the Art Students League of New York. He spent over forty years painting for The Saturday Post, making the covers of their newspaper. When he completed his job with this company he had painted over 400 pictures for them. Norman Rockwell was quite an accomplished painter when he died in 1978.
