Building a Log House

Completing the Structure – The entire house is structurally complete, weatherized and the painting has begun. The gable ends and framed front entrance are faced with board and baton (one by six or eight inch boards butted together and the cracks covered with one by twos). The house is covered with a tin roof. That's an old cement mixer in the front yard.
