Police on child porn charges bailed

Two policemen involved in the investigation into the deaths of Jessica Chapman and Holly Wells have been bailed on child pornography charges.

Judge Nicholas Beddard, sitting at Ipswich Crown Court, has dismissed an appeal by the prosecution not to grant the officers unconditional bail.

Detective Constable Brian Stevens, 41, and Pc Antony Goodridge, 34, did not appear at the hearing. Both are expected to be released later.
